Welcome! My name is Cierra, founder of Berěshith Botanicals, originally Berěshith Beauty.

I began creating my own organic products in 2015, shortly after my son was born. As a new mom, I became overwhelmed with anger and frustration when I realized how toxic most products on the market were (and sadly, still are today), even those marketed for babies and children. The more I learned about these ingredients that made up these products, the more hopeless I began to feel.

 

As a new mom and a woman of faith, that hopelessness didn't last long though. My love for my baby boy, combined with my trust in Yahweh’s provision, turned into a burning passion. I became determined to create products using only the organic ingredients our creator gave us. I decided that if I couldn't find products that were both organic and trustworthy, I would create them myself.

 

I began replacing toxic baby lotions, diaper creams, and powders, products that were actually doing more harm than good anyways, and I was amazed at how much better and faster they worked for my son’s sensitive skin. I became obsessed with creating, learning about medicinal ingredients, comparing quality, and discovering how fewer but higher quality ingredients could produce such powerful, often instant results. What our ancestors once knew, I rediscovered for myself and realized then that these products needed to be shared with others.

Ten years later, I am more dedicated and passionate than ever, creating products that honor our bodies as the temples they are, using the finest organic ingredients I can possibly find. Every ingredient is carefully sourced from ethical, like minded businesses, because simply put, this is how it should be. This is the standard I believe all business owners should hold.

 

 My hope for Berěshith is that everyone who benefits from our products feels a sense of gratitude not only to us, but to the one who truly made this possible. The ingredients that make up our products, which have changed so many lives, were given to us by our creator, Yahweh. We are only stewards of what he has provided.

 

“Berěshith” is a Hebrew word, translates to “in the beginning,” a reminder that everything we need, has already been provided to us at the very beginning.
